“Dear Dan,
The City of Bellingham just issued their final approval on the sunroom addition your company built on my home and I wanted to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the quality workmanship that was performed.
Most especially, I want to thank Mike Ormiston and Preston Stilps for their care and consideration. My sunroom is above ground and off the master bedroom, requiring Mike and Preston to have access for several weeks to my home and bedroom. They always exercised extreme care in protecting the interior of the house and my privacy. I greatly appreciate how conscientious they were regarding this intrusion.
Additionally, the quality of Mike and Preston’s work in constructing the deck, installing the sunroom, and completing the interior finish work was superior. I am delighted with the finished product and know it will give me much enjoyment in the years ahead as well as add to the value of my property.
Please extend to Mike and Preston my thanks and appreciation.”

“Hi Dan,
Gary returned yesterday and was impressed with the work that was done while he was gone – sliding door, siding, gutters, trim, and replacement of the damaged flooring on the solarium step.
Mike, Keith, and Tan are all dedicated craftsmen who have done excellent work here. We know it’s a long trip from Bellingham but we were very glad to have them working on our project.
We are thrilled to have the greenhouses finished and will be starting seeds this week for the coming season, along with moving our furniture back into the solarium. Everyone who has stopped by has been impressed with the results. The greenhouses are just what we had hoped for.”

“To Our Friends and TPS Services,
As we get ready for our spring building season, all of us at Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County would like to thank you joining us in our mission to build simple, affordable housing for families in need. It is exciting to see the members of our community come together in response to our call for help.
As we look over your past involvement with Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County we are certain you have made a difference in our communities, particularly in the lives of Tony and Nancy King and their four children. We will not soon forget your help in building their garden shed – a great addition to their new home in Ferndale! After the home dedication and celebration in autumn and a wonderful Christmas and New Year, the King Family is now settled in House #9 and continues to be active in Habitat for Humanity.
Time sure has flown since you last joined us and spring is coming up quickly. That means there are many opportunities to get involved with Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County. In March we have a Sheet Rockin’ and Rollin’ party at House # 10 in Nooksack, but the biggest celebration will be shortly thereafter when we welcome the Sharp Family into their new home! We are excited not only to complete this home for our newest homeowners but also for a chance it gives us to work with you again. Yes, we have much to be thankful for here at Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County. As of February 6, we are proud owners of a lot on Eaton Street in Ferndale. Get ready for a Framing Blitz sometime in late April or early May. We look forward to seeing you there!
As the new intern here at Habitat I am especially excited to meet you when we hammer together this spring. Terry has told me of your generosity and goodwill and I am reminded how much we must rely on each other as neighbors as we continue through life. We could not meet the housing needs of Whatcom County without people like you.
Thank you once again for your help and we hope to hear from you soon!”

"Our retirement home on Lake Whatcom in Northwest Washington is our ‘Golden Pond’. We considered it near perfect until we came across a sunroom on vacation and fell in love with the outdoor feeling. We now love to sit in our Four Season’s sunroom and storm watch, bird watch and enjoy our gardens in cozy comfort. The sound of wind and rain are great to experience. Our guests gravitate there and enjoy the beauty of being outdoors while indoors. Our new Four Season’s sunroom has truly become the focal point of our home.”
